Currently out in New Zealand and I’m definitely taking advantage of the seals out here for photos but if I’m honest in my observations, they are mostly a-holes. This is more a warning to people to not assign human emotions to animal behavior. I know that baby seal is adorable but it’s curiosity will most likely end in an infectious bite, which they have.

They are also very territorial, you get too close they will awkwardly chase you. I also learned that from experience. Let’s just say there’s a reason they aren’t in any petting zoos. Here’s a couple of dope pics I got of them and also a video of them fighting.
